Latino QB and Punter to go to NFL

Latino College Football Players headed to the NFL
USC's Mark Sanchez should get sweet deal
Adrian Perez, Publisher, Latino Journal

Mark Sanchez is one tough Latino. Tough enough to have led the University of Southern California (USC) Trojan football team to very impressive winning season. Now, he waits for what the NFL has to offer.

Sanchez was a hot ticket for today’s NFL scouts at USC’s pro day. The buzz was he could go fourth and possibly to the Seattle Seahawks, even though the Jacksonville Jaguars were also in town to see the promise Sanchez could bring their team. Other NFL teams that have stepped up to talk to Sanchez include: Detroit, San Francisco, and St. Louis.

Another Latino college football standout this past year was University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Bruins’ punter Aaron Perez. In his pro day held on Tuesday, Perez impressed NFL scouts by punting a ball into the stratosphere. He is also expected to go in the early rounds of the NFL draft.

NFL pro days are an opportunity for college football athletes to demonstrate their skills, depth, and readiness for the NFL.
